    1. You should make sure you get a colonoscopy at age 50, unless you have a family history of colorectal cancer, in which case you should probably get it around age 40. Ask your doctor. This is the # 1 Proven Way to reduce the risk of colorectal cancer. Red meat avoidance has never been shown to be a successful strategy to reduce colorectal cancer.
    1. Consider limiting excess intake of red and processed meat. Maybe.
